My story

Meet Eleanor, a distinguished lady who is looking for a home to grace with her presence. Eleanor is four years old, well-mannered, friendly, and sweet as can be. She is walked by volunteers, a sign that she does well with people. As you can see in her photos, she is wearing a pearl necklace. Her soft brindle coat and impressive frame give an air of sophistication. Eleanor is a big girl at 76 lbs, and can’t wait to join you wherever you are in your fitness journey. She is a tad overweight and will benefit from regular walking and exercise. Found as a stray, poor Eleanor hasn’t had the best luck so far. She can’t wait to turn things around with her forever family. Sweet Ellie loves people, but doesn`t seem to enjoy the company of other dogs. She would prefer to feel safe in a home with no other dogs. Eleanor was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `Eleanor and I went on a walk and spent some quality time together. She wasn’t overly energetic, but she definitely enjoyed exploring the outdoors for a while! She was a little shy at first, but once she had a bit of time to warm up, she couldn’t get enough of the pets and attention. This beautiful girl is such a sweet companion with so much love to give!`Eleanor is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home! Come meet her at KCPP Main Campus today!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
