My story

If you have ANY questions about me, please call Michelle, at 256-520-2517   or Brittany at 256-975-0768. Introducing JELLY BEAN... DOB est 4/8/2024, male, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped... Special Needs... JELLY BEAN is a SUPER sweet black cat born in a trailer park and rescued by a FF foster when he was few weeks old. He was fine at the beginning but soon developed megacolon. His wonderful Vet and those who work there, know him well as he went often last year for enemas, bless his little heart... Those saved his life though, as he was unable to go on his own. He eventually had the affected portion of his colon removed last year as it was not resolving with other less invasive treatments. Since then, JELLY BEAN has been able to poop normally! He does, however, have some lingering nerve damage following the surgery. He is on a restrictive smooth pate food diet, as he will throw up other dry or solid foods. He also tends to eat other foods too fast and causes himself to cough/choke. This may improve with time for him, but for now at least, he definitely needs to be monitored for what he eats. Due to all of this, although he is now 1 year old, he is a small guy at just 6 lbs. Perhaps over time he will get over this issue, but if not or until then - he needs to eat very smooth pate food. This little package of a kitty is 100% a SWEETHEART! He's also great with other cats, is playful and loves to speak with his eyes... You'll need to learn his mind with his inquisitive and loving looks, and plenty of slow blinks... If you're interested in giving JELLY BEAN a chance at a Forever Home, please EMAIL info@ffhsv.org to arrange to meet him and inquire about adoption, or call a number above!
