This sweet boy was found abandoned on the side of the road until his amazing foster dad came to his rescue. From the moment he arrived, it was clear Cooper had known love before — he is incredibly friendly, walks well on a leash, is crate-trained, and has a special gift for snuggling his way right into your heart. Cooper loves being close to his people and spends his days lounging in his cozy bed, sunbathing in the backyard, and keeping his foster dad company while he works from home. He is a quiet, gentle companion who is just as happy relaxing as he is joining in on an adventure. When it comes to making new doggy friends, Cooper appreciates a slow and thoughtful introduction. With a little time, patience, and lots of gentle encouragement, he opens up beautifully — just like he did with his foster sister, Willow, who is now his best friend and favorite playmate. Cooper would likely thrive with a calm, friendly dog in his forever home who can help him continue to feel safe and loved. This smart boy knows his name, responds when called, and even waits patiently by the door after potty breaks for you to help him with his belly band. He enjoys car rides, is a perfect gentleman during bath time, and sits sweetly for nail trims — truly a dream!
