My story

Meet Tito Tito is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 37 pounds. We rescued him from a shelter near the border of Mexico. He had a collar that was never changed and he still has scars from that experience. He has been with us for a year and is now ready for his own home. He does have a short warm-up period when meeting new people. Once he knows you will be kind, he loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment he was in previously, it is apparent that he wasn’t handled very much so he just needs time to trust and know that he is in a safe space. He loves his caretakers at the rescue. He is a sweet dog and has a heart of gold! He gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue and would benefit from another dog in the home. He would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where he can acclimate to new surroundings and learn to trust. He is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call his own! Tito is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325.
