Benny

My story

Benny was born mid November 2024. He's super cute and silly and sweet. Mom is a Dachshund and Dad is a terrier mix who is taller but still would be considered small. He is going to stay on the short side and he is long like a Dachshund. Benny has some of that cute terrier wiry hair but he's still soft. Benny is in a foster home with other dogs both big and small. He's also around young kids and doing great with them. Unknown around cats but would not anticipate any issues. He has gotten very comfortable with his foster family and a little shy/fearful with new people, so he will need an adopter who is willing to give him a little time to adjust and settle in. We do offer a trial adoption so that you can be certain he is a good fit before you adopt. He has learned a lot of the puppy things, such as sit, and leash walking. He is doing well with his house training, but does still have the occasional accident. He is still a puppy and sometimes chews things he shouldn't. He is being crate trained. He would probably do better in a home with another dog but we're open to him being in a single dog home. Can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $500 includes spay/neuter, DAPP vaccines, microchip, access to training videos.
