My story

Jacob Appel A17572357 lb. neutered male, approx 5 years old -This older boy is a very good mix of energetic and chill-He has this cute lil move where he weaves back-and-forth underneath your legs to scratch his back. Over and over! It’s very cute! -He is not jumpy for the most part but will occasionally jump up gently on your lap for attention-He’s affectionate and gives kisses-Inside I sat down on the floor and he immediately came over and got into my lap-Loves pets and belly rubs-Treat motivated, sits and takes them gently-Not currently playing with toys-He’s content to relax and do his own thing when needed-On leash he starts of raring to go but settles in after he gets some energy out-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
