My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.Mr. Handyman was in the den but came quickly out at the sight of the assessor and the sound of the treat bag being shaken. He stood tall with a high tail, curious, alert, and sweet, and enjoyed treats and all petting, leaning in nicely for cheek rubs. He did give a single hiss, possibly in response to the cat below him meowing, but he remained calm afterward. He was reasonably calm, struggling just slightly when picked up, and when sat back down, he resumed eating. Interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience provided they are counseled on a cat who might become startled by other cats and showed mild discomfort during pick-up.A volunteer writes: Mr. Handyman was only trying to help when he walked himself into a hardware store, and then walked himself in again... and again. Though he believes himself to be really good at fixing things and we all know self confidence can go a long way, the hardware store wasn't safe for Mr. Handyman and he was brought to us. For all of his skills and the heart behind them, Mr. Handyman could use some tips and tricks for mending his own. It seems like he's been on his own for a little while now and though he's big on DIY, it seems like he hasn't been sure on where to start since coming to us at the Care Center. Stretched out in an extended loaf, Mr. Handyman allowed all pets as we brainstormed his upcoming projects. Mr. Handyman's always willing to try and is doing his best to make a good impression, so please come in and help him with his most important project - finding a forever family. Primary Color: Black Weight: 7.6 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mr.Handyman, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
