My story

Speckles is fostered in the St Louis, MO area. Please meet the beautiful Speckles. She is an approximately 4 to 5-year-old blue merle female Australian Shepherd. She currently weighs about 40 lbs. Speckles is a great example of a velcro Aussie, loves to be close to her person; a constant companion following you from room to room. She also  is very passionate about giving face kisses and is SUCH a lovebug and just craves human attention.  She loves spooning her human at bed time. She is always ready for a walk or a car ride, but then will come inside and lay beside you to watch TV.  She can be a little demanding if you stop petting her. She is being fostered with two other female dogs and plays well with them. She loves her walks, but still needs work a bit on walking etiquette with pulling if she smells something good. Speckles came to our rescue from a home breeder, so much of her past is unknown. She has started to play fetch with her foster dad. Speckles is mostly house trained and is crate trained, but prefers not to be confined. In her foster home, she does have access to a dog door and a fenced yard. We do recommend a physically fenced yard for her. Speckles is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is also receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. If you have what Speckles needs, please visit our website to find out information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2431856##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt 0865 Speckles, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
