A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, but she’ll manage with patient strolls if walks are more your thing. While Mia is friendly and affectionate, her love language is gentle communication. She’ll softly nudge your hand with her mouth — not to bite, but to get your attention or politely say, “No thanks.” For example, if she’s snuggled in your lap and decides she’s done being petted, she might give a little mouthing cue to let you know. Because of her sensitive nature, Mia would thrive in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children who can respect her signals and personal space. Mia does great with calm cats and dogs her size, but she’s not a fan of roughhousing or pushy play. Her vibe is more “Netflix and chew toy” than “dog park chaos.” This gentle girl is a little sensitive when it comes to grooming, especially around her paws and face, so she appreciates a patient hand and lots of treats.
