My story

Olive is a 3-month-old, 3-pound female cat from the Town of Hempstead animal shelter.  Say hello to Olive, a pint-sized ball of sunshine with a huge heart and an even bigger personality! At just 3 months old, Olive is full of life and curiosity—her playful zoomies are the stuff of legend. Whether she’s darting around the room like a tiny rocket or making friends with every dog she meets, Olive brings joy wherever she goes. Despite a tough start to life, Olive has always had a happy-go-lucky spirit. You’d never guess what she’s been through—she’s all purrs, cuddles, and boundless energy. When she’s not in play mode, she melts into your arms for snuggles, purring up a storm and stealing your heart. This little survivor is ready to bring her light and love to a forever home. If you're looking for a kitten who’s playful, affectionate, and resilient, Olive is your girl. Olive must be adopted to a home with another playful cat or dog, or can be adopted together with another Waggytail kitten. Vaccinated for FVRCP. FeLV / FIV negative, spayed, and microchipped. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
