My story

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Verde looked so defeated in his kennel, and the moment I saw him, I knew I had to meet him. Verde was lying quietly on his bed, not getting up right away when I approached, but the moment I opened his kennel door, his entire demeanor changed. He was so excited to have company, leaning all the way into me for pets and soaking up every bit of affection. He walked like a breeze, passing dogs and people with perfect manners, and once outside, he happily sniffed around before coming back over for more love. He’s the sweetest, cutest boy, and dogs like him always make me wonder how they end up at the shelter. Verde is very treat motivated and knows “sit,” and while he did well on his temp test, he can be a bit jumpy and would likely do best with slow introductions. Later in the afternoon, another volunteer spent time with him in his kennel and confirmed what I already knew—he’s the sweetest boy. Definitely one of my favorite dogs of the day! "
