My story

Meet Marlow 💛 Marlow came to DDBBR as an owner surrender after her previous family realized they could no longer care for her. When she arrived, she was struggling with a chronic, untreated cough that had gone on for months. Even mild activity would leave her gasping for air—she couldn’t enjoy life without discomfort and distress. Thankfully, we got Marlow the veterinary care she desperately needed, and she’s now on the road to recovery. Her cough is improving every day, and she’s finally able to breathe easier and enjoy her new life. When Marlow first entered our program, she was nervous and withdrawn around people. But since settling into her foster home, she’s done a complete 180—now seeking out belly rubs and loving all the human attention she can get! She’s great on leash and enjoys slow, relaxed walks with her foster family. Marlow is house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy when left loose in the home. This sweet girl is finally getting to enjoy the life she always deserved—and she’s soaking up every moment.
