Archie

My story

Archie is a 5 months old Boxer mix. His foster family prefers to call him "Goober" because he’s such a clumsy, happy-go-lucky puppy! He weighs 35 lbs but doesn’t realize how big he is, and he will take any opportunity to snuggle and/or sit on your lap. His is definitely mostly Boxer as he is a goofy guy with a lot of energy and loves to play. With that said, he is not recommended in a home with young kids as he still uses his puppy teeth to play, but he does well with redirection. He will require training to keep his manners in check, but he aims to please and is food motivated. Since he has a lot of Boxer puppy energy, daily walks are a must—he already does so well on the leash! He has picked up potty training quickly, just be sure to stay on him since he can get distracted with all that playing! He is such a friendly guy and gets along with the other dogs in his current foster home. Although he is a goofy guy, he is very sweet and would be perfect for an active family that can give him the training and attention he needs to be the best pup that he can be.
