My story

Meet Scott – A True Gentleman with a Tiger’s Coat and a Heart of Gold Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Scott, a two-year-old Shepherd/Dutch Corgi mix with the dashing good looks of a tiger and the soul of a teddy bear. Weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds, I’m just the right size for adventures and couch cuddles alike. Everyone at the shelter says I’m something special. I’ve overheard words like “gentle,” “loving,” and—would you believe it?—“obsessed.” I take it all in stride, of course… because that’s what gentlemen do. I know how to sit, shake, and accept treats with the utmost politeness. Most days, you’ll find me sitting quietly at the front of my kennel, pressing myself up against the glass and hoping today is the day someone chooses me. I walk beautifully on a leash, love a good stroll, and would be just as happy curling up in your lap as I would be exploring the neighborhood. I’m calm around other dogs and could likely fit in well with a doggy sibling, especially if they appreciate a chill companion (a meet and greet is required with all dogs in the home). If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and well-mannered best friend, I’m your guy. Come meet me—you won’t just fall in love… you might get obsessed too. -Scott 🐾 The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30pm-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm.
