My story

Evie was found near Whitaker and Louden on June 25th, brought in by a Good Samaritan who couldn’t care for her but wanted to ensure she was safe. Friendly and playful from the start, Evie quickly captured hearts with her vibrant spirit and joyful energy. Evie has shown herself to be a social butterfly in the yard, warming up quickly and engaging in bouncy play with other dogs. Though she can be a bit mouthy and jumpy—puppy traits that a bit of training will polish—she thrives on human attention and eagerly seeks out affection. Her recent foster outing highlights just how affectionate and people-oriented she is: she adored her walk around town, loved the car ride, and ultimately preferred to snuggle in her human’s lap at every opportunity. This lively, loving young pup is ready to bring energy, joy, and endless cuddles to a forever home. She is a very energetic, young dog, who wants to constantly show her affection for you. She was very excited to go for a walk around town with a little bit of leash biting thrown in, and she was also excited to go for car rides, too. However, her favorite place of the day was always sitting on my lap, whether we were in the car, at home, or out at a park on a bench. She very quickly showed her love and affection, and with a little bit of training (she is a little bit nippy, but that is the puppy inside of her), she would bring such joy to your home.
