My story

Ruby is a 7 year our basset hound looking for her forever home! Ruby is an older gal but don't let that fool you, she still has some pep in her step on occasion. Ruby is currently house trained. She is crate trained but if she does decide she wants to give you a little song it usually takes about 10 minutes for her to stop. She walks great on a leash and enjoys being outside. She is dog friendly! However I would say a very pushy energetic puppy might not be her jam. She doesn't have negative behaviors, but will let you know she's a tad bit annoyed with a bark. Typical fun police. She is a lower energy dog and truly is just looking for a place to call her own. She is friendly with men, women, and kids! She is a shadow and though she doesn't need you to be home at all times she will show affection when you're home in hopes of it being returned. Ruby is special, kind, and a whole package. She is the type of dog that can be great for an experienced owner or a first time dog parent. She is adoptable within 3 hours of Chicago. Her adoption fee includes spay, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, up to date on prevenatives and microchipped.
