My story

Rascal is a long-haired tuxedo kitten (estimated DOB: 2/14/2025) who is full of cuteness and curiosity! Like his sister, Spanky, Rascal is all about high-speed play. He zooms through tunnels, chases string toys like it’s a sport, and has a special fondness for plush toys he can pounce on. Rascal has an independent streak. He prefers to run wild with his siblings until he’s ready to plop into your lap for a quick cuddle and energy recharge. He doesn’t demand constant attention, but he does appreciate a little affection before bouncing off for his next adventure. Rascal is the kind of companion who will keep you entertained, make you laugh daily, and melt your heart when he slows down for a cuddle. We rescued Rascal along with his mom, Darla, and four siblings. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
