Meet Mandoo Age: 3–4 years Weight: 6kg Height: 28cm (shoulder height) Breed: Welsh mix Color: Brown & White Neutered Male   Rescue Story Mandoo was found wandering around an apartment complex and ended up in a city shelter after being reported by a resident. Now he’s looking for a forever home where he’ll never be alone again. People Skills Mandoo is a sweet, snuggly boy who adores attention from both familiar people and strangers. He leans in for pets and loves a good treat! Sudden touches can startle him, but once he trusts you, he’ll roll over for belly rubs and even let you lift him gently under the belly. He hasn’t met children under 13 yet. Dog Social Skills Friendly and curious, Mandoo loves trying to make dog friends—even if he sometimes gets left out of the fun. He’s gentle, non-confrontational, and prefers to walk away rather than react if another dog gets moody. Best with dogs his size or smaller! With Cats He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but this can be arranged if needed. Energy Level Mandoo has a balanced energy—he enjoys outdoor adventures but also knows how to chill and relax indoors. Leash Manners Still learning the ropes! He can be startled by new sights and sounds but seeks comfort from his person. With gentle guidance and practice, he’s gaining confidence every day. Other Notes Not food-aggressive but loves his meals—so he might sneak snacks from other dogs if given the chance. He’s not suited for long crate time but is okay being left alone for short periods. Mandoo is generally quiet, only barking occasionally when something unfamiliar catches his attention. Mandoo is looking for a kind, patient adopter who will help him build confidence and feel safe.
