My story

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION DAISY MAE is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas and the adoption fee includes her transportation if interested there is an application on our website https:/www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ DAISY MAE is approx 4 months old and 7 lbs as of June 2025, she will probably be in the 15 to 20 lb + range when fully grown. She and her sister Bella were just strays and found their way to our rescue. Daisy Mae is a really sweet puppy, she is very smart and is picking up on her house training very quickly, she will run out to the yard with her sister to go to the bathroom, she is not leash/harness trained, but should learn very quickly she is a typical puppy, loves to run and play in the yard with her buddies and toys and loves attention. She looks like a Sheltie mix, but we have no idea of her breed mix.. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at https:/www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/
