My story

Penelope is a stunning and sweet female orange tabby who’s ready to find her forever home! Transferred to us from a local grassroots rescue organization, she has been given a second chance at life. Now that she’s safe and sound, she’s looking for a family to give her the love and security that can only be provided by a family in a forever home. It’s rare to find a female orange tabby—only about 1 in 5 orange tabbies are female! So, Penelope is extra special. Her fiery coat and kind spirit are just the beginning of what makes her a gem. She’s a loving and trusting cat who is ready to start fresh in an inviting, caring home. She’s friendly with people and will make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a sweet, loyal cat to share their life with. Penelope is waiting for someone who can offer her the stability and love she’s been craving. If you’re looking for a beautiful companion in need of a forever someone, Penelope might be the perfect fit. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
