My story

Meet Crumble! We weren’t sure what melted our hearts first, these brutal temps or Crumble’s striking eyes. Pretty sure it was the latter. This cute ball of mange made his way to ALIVE Rescue from Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control and he’s continued to melt the hearts of all the volunteers and staff he meets. Crumble is the cuddliest guy out there. He loves lying in laps, being near his people, and being carried around. He enjoys sitting outside in the shade and is super food motivated. As he settles into life in a loving foster home, he’s started to show more interest in toys as well. This medium energy pup will thrive in a patient and quiet home with someone who loves puppy snuggles and will let Crumble blossom in his own time. Within just a short time at his foster home, his puppy goofiness has started to show. His energy grows each day in small spurts as he continues to heal. We know Crumble will be an amazing family dog as he has been extremely gentle with young kids, gravitating towards them for pets and snuggles. He has also done well with other dogs and is absolutely nailing potty training, signaling when he needs to go and patiently waiting to do his business outside. Not only is he a quiet pup (no barking out of him!), he likes to communicate through body language and silly little snorts. He gives the gentlest of kisses and loves to put his big paws on you to snuggle. No wonder he’s winning over so many hearts! Will he win over yours next? Apply to adopt Crumble today!
