My story

Meet Winnie! This 50-pound bundle of joy is a mixed-breed marvel—with hints of cattle dog and maybe even a bit of German Shepherd in her adventurous spirit. Winnie is all about action, whether it's hitting the trails, exploring new places, or just playing in the yard. She's got energy to spare, which makes her the perfect companion for someone with an active lifestyle. Winnie is outgoing, social, and absolutely adores people. She also gets along well with other dogs who match her playful energy—she loves a good romp and a game of chase! Whether it's a mountain path or a neighborhood stroll, she’s happiest when she's by your side and on the move. Looking for a hiking buddy? A road trip sidekick? A loyal best friend to keep you on your toes? Winnie’s your girl. She's smart, curious, and always up for whatever’s next. Winnie is ready for her forever home—could it be with you? Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
