My story

I recently arrived at HSC from the ASPCA’s Behavioral Resource Center in Asheville as a graduate of their program. By considering me for adoption, you will help me continue my journey of learning ‘how to be a dog’ and gaining my confidence around people. It took many months to get me here and I need a quiet, patient home that will help me continue to learn and stay safe living in a home. My adoption comes with a behavior resource packet and continued support from the ASPCA’s BRC. All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
