Penelope

My story

Penelope’s paperwork says she is 8 months but she has all of her adult teeth so she is really about a 1 year. Weighs 9 pounds. She loves other dogs and really depends on them, so another dog in the house needed. She was found in San Antonio weaving through traffic on a very busy highway. Penelope has a little nervous/anxious energy in new places with new people but she is never mean and is very loving, she just needs some grace while she decompresses in a new place. She really loves other animals. She would do best in a fenced yard but I have faith that within a short period of time with her people she will bond to them and be walking on leash and harness with confidence in no time. She just needs love, patience, guidance, socializing and confidence building. Penelope is young and will learn and acclimate quickly. She just needs that extra tlc and a cheerleader in her corner.
