Taco

My story

Taco is a grad A goof ball! He is apx 2 years old and 9.7 pounds but it would do him some good to gain a little bit more weight and muscle mass. He is still a little thin, but looking a lot better than he did when he first got to the shelter. He is from a very small shelter outside of Dallas, Texas, where he came in with very bad mange and extremely malnourished and dehydrated. The loving staff there, really advocated for him and his well being, even driving him 6 hours South to us to be sure he could be placed into the best home possible. The ACO officer did this on their day off, which says a lot about how much they all liked Taco, and really whats not to like. Despite his hardships, he is just happy, loving, social, and silly dog. He has no anxiety, he loves meeting new people, walks well on leash, he is not barky, he is very friendly, social and outgoing but not overly hyper. He is a gem. HIs coat is growing back well, his skin is healed, his spirits are high and he is ready for the best chapter yet! Taco is great with all people and kids. He is fine with the cats and he is great with dogs, however because of his very social personality, he does not necessarily always understand personal space of a dog and likes to get right in their face to say hi to them 😂. He is a good kid with a goofy personality that you can not help but love. Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given.
