My story

Hello! I am Darwin! I am so incredibly cute, and so incredibly ready for a forever home! I came here as a stray, not sure who all these new people and doggos were. I was pretty shy and it took me some time to warm up to everyone...but soon I found I liked my new friends! I would do best in a home that can be patient and loving, one that will give me time to adjust and build my confidence. I do go to dog playgroup here, so there`s a chance I can live with new dogs too! I seem to be most nervous around men, so I do need extra time warming up to them (but I love snacks, especially cheese or hotdogs, so if you share with me, we`ll be good to go!) I am very sweet, silly, and snuggly. Come meet me today!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
