Brookie

My story

Brookie is a 40-pound bundle of energy, wiggles, and tail wags! She’s smart, playful, and loves people — her foster says, “I’ve never seen a dog more happy with people.” Whether she’s bringing you toys or just soaking up attention, Brookie is always eager to make you smile. Brookie gets along great with other dogs and is always up for making new friends. She’s mostly house-trained, barks to let you know when she needs to go, and is crate-trained. She also rides well in the car. Like many young dogs, Brookie is still learning a few things — leash manners and how to be left alone, so someone who is home more often not, initially, would be best for her. She’ll do best in an active home with someone who can keep her engaged and continue her training. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, and silly pup who’s full of life and love, Brookie’s the one! (IC)
