My story

Fern is a darling female kitten with a unique blend of tabby stripes and tortoiseshell swirls, making her as beautiful as she is sweet. Her gentle eyes and soft purrs reflect her calm, affectionate nature, and she quickly wins hearts with her quiet charm. Fern loves being close to her people, whether it’s snuggling in a warm lap or curling up beside you for a peaceful nap.Though she enjoys playtime like any curious kitten, Fern has a mellow, thoughtful side that makes her especially endearing. She’s great with other pets and would thrive in a loving home where she can continue to grow surrounded by care and companionship. With her soft coat and even softer heart, Fern is sure to be a cherished addition to any family.ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
