Meet Mama Kitty! A soulful four-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently living in New Ringgold, PA, whose essence is that of a gentle little queen wrapped in a plush gray coat. Each morning, Mama Kitty performs her royal greeting ceremony: waiting patiently at the bottom of the stairs, she curls around her caregiver’s legs with delicate purrs, brushing against them like a living velvet scarf as they prepare her breakfast. It’s her way of whispering “thank you” and “I love you” all in one breath. Her playful spirit blooms in sweet, surprising moments — from tumbling with the rug at dawn, chasing her tail in quiet delight, to rolling onto her back for belly pets with trusting eyes full of gratitude. When she finishes her morning games, she ascends to her throne (also known as the cat tree), where she perches like a regal little loaf, calmly observing her world with wise, curious eyes. Mama Kitty thrives in peaceful environments where she can blossom without rush or noise. Her heart carries tender resilience; despite bearing a unique ear notch from her past life outdoors, she radiates love and softness, offering her new family a chance to witness her ongoing journey of healing and hope. She has been tolerant of her caregiver’s four-year-old niece and would do well with calm children who understand her shy sweetness.
