My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:It could be with you! Click here to learn more about the adoption process!Ace Face is an affectionate, high-energy cat who currently dislikes being picked up and may have a tendency to overstimulate. He was at the front lying calmly and enjoyed all petting, becoming more excited as the petting went on. Pick-up was attempted-his head whipped to face the assessor's hands with sideways ears and a defensive posture, as if he was going to escalate and possibly swat. Then he resumed being affectionate, and when the kennel door was shut, he rolled and pushed his paws through the kennel door seeking attention.Ace Face interacts with the observer, solicits and appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates most petting. We recommend that Ace Face go to a home with some being picked up. We recommend that Ace Face go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in possible overstimulation, potential difficulty with being picked up and litter box issues. The family reports that he is easy to pick up so this should be re-tested.A volunteer writes: When everything feels upside down, join it! Is that the expression? Ace Face told me it was... Either way and playfully embodying this approach, Ace Face welcomed me with a playful upside down stretch from the top of his cubby. I held out my hand for him to sniff and Ace Face promptly reached his paws out for one of the toys I was planning on offering him. Tossing it back to me to begin a game, Ace Face is happy to take a chance when it comes his way. He knows there are times when opportunities can seem few and far between, which is why he takes initiative. We love Ace Face for that, for the way he shows his beautiful belly to the world and sleeps with his face pressed against the door. Affectionate and playful, he does it all from his heart in hopes the chance for a family will present itself when they see how special he is and ask him to please join. Primary Color: Gray Secondary Color: White Weight: 11.2 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ace Face, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
