My story

Val is a sweet, gentle girl who has been through a lot in her young life. After being abandoned by her previous owners, she gave birth to a litter of puppies, who were taken in by the county. She was found hiding under her abandoned house with a severely prolapsed uterus, requiring emergency surgery to save her life. Now in a safe foster home, Val is slowly learning to trust again.She’s wonderful with other dogs, does well around kids, and seems to be fine with cats too. While she’s still very shy, she has started opening up to her foster family and has the sweetest personality. She gives the biggest tail wags and wiggles when excited. She is housebroken and does well when left alone at home. She’ll need a patient and understanding family who can offer her the time and space to feel safe and loved. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion and you’re willing to help her come out of her shell, Val may be the perfect addition to your family.
