My story

Chubby cat lovers step up and see the chunkiest kitty there ever could be: a 7-year-old by the name of Tammy! The neighborhood stray for half a decade, Tammy received much love and support from her community, who brought her into the shelter when she was injured. Rest assured that Tammy’s heart is as big as her belly—she loves to greet her visitors with chirps, head butts, and flops. As she recovered, Tammy went to foster to work on her exercise and diet plan. Though there is more of her to love this way, Tammy’s mobility is impaired by her size and she wants to get back to doing cat things again! Tammy would need a family committed to her diet so she can live a fuller life. In her foster home she has done well with the children, but is not fond of the dogs and would prefer a home without them.
