My story

Meet Volley! This adorable Spaniel mix is all charm with his soft, golden-and-white coat and fluffy ears that bounce when he walks. Estimated to be about 3 months old and currently around 7 pounds, Volley will likely grow to be 12–15 pounds full grown—just the right size for lap snuggles and adventures alike. Volley came to us as a stray from the Oakland Animal Shelter, and we’re so glad we can help him get the fresh start he deserves. He’s a sweet, curious puppy with no training yet, so he’ll need a family ready to commit to the basics: house training, crate training, and lots of socialization. Volley is currently completing his puppy vaccines and needs to avoid shared public spaces for the next few weeks until he's fully protected. But don’t worry—he’ll keep you entertained at home with his playful energy and happy-go-lucky personality. Volley would do best in a home with: A yard to explore (no apartments) A second friendly dog to be his mentor and playmate A family prepared for the ups and downs of raising a puppy He’s already been neutered and is ready to bring love, laughter, and floppy-eared cuteness into his forever home.
