My story

Oakley – The Easygoing Bestie Say hello to Oakley, the laid-back, lovable boy with a go-with-the-flow personality. This 9-week-old Shih Tzu–Brussels Griffon mix has the most neutral temperament of the litter—happy to match the energy of whoever he’s with, whether it’s a child, dog, or grown-up human. He’s currently thriving in a Bay Area foster home and expected to be about 14–20 pounds full grown. Oakley is easy to love but still a true puppy: untrained, energetic, and in need of structure and enrichment. He’s looking for a home with a yard, a companion dog, and people who understand that being small doesn’t mean being low-energy. Oakley does best with someone home most of the day, so he can bond, train, and grow into the loyal, friendly companion he’s meant to be. This is also the best way to submit additional documents or information. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $700 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
