My story

If you’re like us, sometimes you`ll see a dog who`s so cute that you reflexively stop to look at them and say, “Awwwww!!” You might get butterflies and feel your heart melt because they’re so adorable! While there are hundreds of doggos in the shelter, you should make a special trip over to darling Rory’s kennel; we don’t think you’ll be able to pass by without feeling some pitter-patters in your heart! Rory’s volunteer friends ADORE her, with one sharing: “Rory is a cutie patootie! She was friendly and easy to leash up in her kennel. We walked over to a play yard, where she walked around and took in all the scents. After exploring, she came over and stood next to me as I sat on a bench and she enjoyed lots of cuddles. Within just a couple minutes, she got enough confidence to get up on the bench next to me so she could be as close as possible to get scratches and give me some sweet baby kisses! She went from having two feet up on the bench next to me, to getting all the way up on the bench, standing next to me and wapping me with her happy tail as we cuddled and snuggled! She`s an absolute doll!”Rory can be shy when she first meets new people, but as her volunteer friend shared, she is quick to warm up! She’s looking for a family who will welcome her into their home as a true member of the family and who will help her feel brave and confident.Rory shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Some dogs have looks, some have personality…our Rory has both! Come meet this darling girl today!
