My story

Cora is a 10-month-old spaniel mix with the softest ears and an even softer heart. While she’s naturally a little shy at first, this sweet girl tries so hard to be brave—and it shows. Once she knows you're safe, she’ll gently nuzzle in for belly rubs and happily glue herself to your side like the loyal companion she’s meant to be. Cora thrives in a calm, patient home where she can build trust at her own pace. She’s food-motivated once she feels secure, especially when soft treats or canned food are involved—those are her favorite! Cora would also do best in a home with a fenced in yard as she isn't quite ready/ able to walk on a leash yet. She’s learning that dog friends can be great too, but needs slow, gentle introductions to polite pups. Cora currently lives with two small Pomeranians (under 10 lbs) and a laid-back tabby cat. After a few days of trust-building, she now snuggles up with one of the dogs—proof that with time and love, Cora blossoms beautifully. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's eager to bond and just needs a little patience to shine, Cora may be your perfect match. Cora is estimated to be 10 months old and 19 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
