My story

King is a 6 month-old Shepherd mix with the classic good looks and loyal spirit of a German Shepherd—smart, sensitive, and eager to bond with his people.  King spent his early months on the streets of a reservation with his mom and three siblings where life was tough. Now safe in a loving foster home, King is discovering the beauty of regular meals, soft beds, and gentle affection. He quickly warmed up to his foster family and finds great comfort in the companionship of the resident dogs, who are helping him come out of his shell.Though still shy in new situations, King is making wonderful progress. Every day, he grows a bit more outgoing, a bit more playful, and more trusting. He’s starting to enjoy the simple joys of puppyhood—playtime, toys, and belly rubs. King would thrive in a calm home with experienced dog owners or a patient family who understands that confidence takes time. In return, you'll have the joy of watching him blossom into a loyal, devoted companion—true to the best traits of his breed. With a little time and a lot of love, King is ready to begin the life he was always meant to live. He is going to be on the bigger side as an adult. 65 is pounds perhaps but of course that is just a guess.
