Meet Darla!Darla is a 1-year-old shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a kind heart. She can be shy in new situations, but once she feels safe, she’ll win you over with her sweet and tender kisses.  About Darla: Age/Breed: 1-year-old shepherd mix Weight: 35 pounds (needs to gain some weight) Personality: Gentle, kind, a little shy at first but very loving once comfortable Loves: Playing “chase” with other dogs, exploring the yard, and relaxing at your feet  Training & Behavior: Dog-friendly and enjoys the company of canine companions Loves to run and play chase with other dogs Knows “sit” Walks nicely on a leash when feeling confident May jump up when excited, but is not pushy Startled by loud noises (especially coffee grinders!) Best fit: A calm, patient home environment ‍‍ Other Pets & People: Shy when meeting new people but warms up with patience Hasn’t met cats yet (slow introductions recommended)  Medical: Spayed Microchipped Up-to-date on vaccines Current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention  Adoption Fee: $250 Ready to meet Darla?
