My story

Shindi is a beautiful cat with a long, luxurious coat and a gentle heart. Though he may be a bit timid at first, he warms up quickly with a little patience and kindness. Once he's comfortable, he'll happily lean into affection-especially if you've got a brush in hand! Grooming time is one of his favorite ways to bond.Shindi has also lived with another cat and would do well in a home with a feline friend but he would also be happy as the only fur-child too. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion to join your calm and cozy household, Shindi might be the perfect match. With his lovely nature and gentle demeanor, he's ready to find a forever home where he can truly shine.For adoption applications:1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest.OR2. Visit the Surrey BC SPCA at 16748 50 Ave, to meet Shindi and learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person.If you are invited to meet Shindi please come prepared with a cat carrier as we do same-day adoptions if the meet goes well.
