My story

When I first came to BCAR, I was not a Happy, Happy. I still don't like the shelter and want to be in my forever home very badly. One of my buddies has been taking me to her house for some visits. She says I am very good natured and fun to be around. I LOVE to ride in her car, get belly rubs, and she even gives me a treat sometimes. (They say I need to lose some weight, but I will think about that another day) I need to have surgery on my knees soon and I won't be able to recover well at the shelter. BCAR is paying for my care, but I need a quiet home with no steps while I heal. They told me I have to have a foster home before they can schedule the surgery, so I really hope you can help. I want to get my legs fixed so I can enjoy longer walks and play time. How is a girl supposed to get in shape and be her Happiest, without exercise? All BCAR dogs are placed as indoor family pets.
