My story

Meowdy! Eeyore, that is me! I’m a cute guy; that we can all agree. Just look at me! Just as cute and handsome as can be! I am so lucky to be the spoiled boy that I am! I wasn’t always this lucky. I used to be a street cat… then I got a pretty painful injury to my front paw and was taken to the shelter. It was at the shelter that I tested positive for FIV and was placed on the euthanasia list. I was very, very depressed. I wouldn’t even look at people as they passed me by. However, Kitty Save wasn’t worried at all! They fell instantly in love with me and saw that I needed help! With time and patience, they helped me be the cat I am now! And oh boy… I sure am lucky. My caretakers were even the first to give me a soft, fluffy bed! What can I say, I live the dream life! Now, I spend my days cuddling with my feline companions in what is called a “cuddle puddle”. I love to also meow for my caretakers’ attention. Once I have it, I will beg to either be picked up or rolled on my back to get my belly rubs! I’m just a chill couch potato I guess you could say! I do have some medical needs that require daily eye medication and frequent vet visits. The needs manifest in my eyes. I have constant drainage and sometimes flare ups that make my eyes very dry and itchy. However I am such a good boy when it comes to my medicine! And thanks to my caretakers at The Charming Cat Corner and Kitty Save, my eyes are definitely 10x better than they were before! I do have one requirement in my home, and that is that I must have a kitty companion(s) by my side. Otherwise, I would love to be your new best friend.
