My story

Meet Princess Pixie -ready to rule your heart! At just 16 pounds, 2.5-year-old Pixie is the tiniest royal in the kingdom of Freedom Frenchie Rescue—and trust us, she knows it. This little lady is princess-obsessed, squeaky ball-obsessed, and fully committed to living her best pampered life. Her prized possession? A squeaky ball she carries around like it’s royal treasure. History: Pixie came to us from Long Beach Animal Shelter after no one came to claim her, but she strutted out like she owned the place—ready to play play play. A short bout of kennel cough slowed her sparkle, but she’s bounced back with a full tummy, a growing waistline (go girl!), and a snuggly spirit that makes every day sweeter. Diet/training: She’s fully potty trained, calm, and absolutely drama-free—unless you’re talking about fairy tale-level cuddles. Pixie thrives with other small pups but can be a bit unsure around larger dogs. At first, she may be shy, but give her a moment and she’ll transform from bashful to bouncy in no time. Pixie is currently on a raw diet and it has done wonders for her body! Her allergies are way better to the point of her hair has grown back. She has put on some much needed weight. Pixie eats twice a day and she looks forward to every meal! Medically Pixie is healthy, once she had a cytopoint shot and kennel cough cleared up she has completely changed. Our vet gave her the boost she needed to get her back on track. She may have to continue with allergy medication but we really think that maintaining her diet and an allergy probiotic can help the most. Everything starts within the gut and her foster mom knows exactly what she is doing to help Pixie maintain! Pixie is currently recovering from her spay, and healing nicely! Her royal routine includes: Chasing sunbeams across the floor like it’s her full-time job. Staring dramatically out the window as if waiting for her prince (or her next treat delivery). He most favorite thing to do ever is snuggling up for long naps while her foster mom works nearby. By day, she’s a sunbathing queen. By night, she’s your little cuddle bug. All she’s missing is a castle of her own—and a loving family to worship her, obviously. If you’re ready for a petite princess with a big heart, a squeaky ball, and a daily sunbath schedule, Pixie is your girl. She is vaccinated, spay, and microchipped, her adoption donation fee is $1050.00. Please apply on our website at freedomfrenchierescue.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pixie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
