My story

HUCK 😍 8 mos old Bloodhound This big guy is absolutely a sweetheart—super smart, super sweet, and all-around a joy to have around. He’s done incredibly well in a crate (no puppy crying at night!) and slept through peacefully. Definitely food-motivated, which makes training easier. He needs a family with breed experience and the commitment to enroll him in basic training. He is a huge puppy who has never been trained or had a himan leader to motivate and work with him. He already knows how to sit, and while leash walking is still a work in progress, he’s learning. He seems friendly with other dogs—curious and positive—but hasn’t had much direct interaction yet his previous home had other dogs that he got along well with. He does get a bit nervous in the car, but it seems more like he’s just not used to it yet. Occasionally shows some growly behavior, though it’s inconsistent and not always resource-related—still very puppy-like in temperament. He has shown some resource guarding so this will need to be worked on some more . And speaking of puppy things: he’s got the cutest floppy ears that dip into his water bowl when he drinks—someone needs to invent a puppy ear splash guard! 😂 Overall, he’s a classic puppy—playful, a little timid at times (he’ll look to you for reassurance), very cuddly, and full of love. 💛 https://form.jotform.com/203585160919157
