My story

Hi people! My name is Mateo and I am currently in a foster home in Santa Clarita Area.  I would like to tell you a little about me!  First of all, I must have toys! I love toys.  Sometimes I have to share them with my foster siblings, but I would love to have toys of my own. Actually, I would prefer to live in a house where it is me and my person, however, I can be very nice to any canine siblings that I might have.  Somehow, I wound up homeless, and  the shelter took me from the streets,  then my rescue mom got me out of the scary shelter.  It was a very difficult time for me, and I still dont understand how I was in that situation. I am approx 7=8 years old, but no one knows my exact age.  When I was rescued from the shelter, I felt very nervous and life was hard for me. In time, I have really come a long way, and I am now looking for an understanding home.  One time, I was very confused, because my foster mom had left the house, and when she came back the other dogs in my house were barking and excited.  I got mixed up and  bit my foster mom.  That was over 1 1/2 months and I have not done that since.  I try to show my foster mom how sorry I am by sitting in her lap and playing with my toys. I love playing, and my foster mom and rescue think that I would be happy in a quiet home, without alot of commotion. I am kind of the type to play and chill by myself, and then when I feel like I need some cuddles, I go to my foster mom and sit in her lap while she pets me and talks to me.  I am active, but not super hyper.   One thing to know... I would be happy in an apartment or condo.   I dont bark alot, and I do not chew things other than my toys. Would you like to meet me?  My rescue wants me to go to an adult home, that will give me the time to adjust and be a happy boy! ##2451970##
