Introducing Lexington, a gorgeous 3 year old 60# housetrained husky. This sweet, silly, and stunning girl is a total heart stealer! Lexington is a young pup at heart who lives for playtime, belly rubs, and quality time with her humans. The moment you walk into the room, her tail wags, her ears perk up, and she’s ready to show you just how much love she has to give. Lexington is fantastic with kids and would thrive in a family setting where she can be part of the fun. She’s also a smarty pants who already knows sit, shake, and lay down. Though she gets excited and may jump when she’s really happy she’s very responsive to gentle corrections and eager to please. This beautiful girl has undergone two hip surgeries and made a phenomenal recovery, you’d never know by watching her run and play! She’s full of energy, incredibly affectionate, and loves to be included in whatever you’re doing. A Few Things To Keep In Mind: *Lexington isn’t a fan of cats and would do best in a feline free home *She tends to be selective with other dogs especially older dogs but may be a good match with younger dogs after a proper meet-and-greet. *She may try and bolt out the door when excited so she’ll need some extra mindfulness around open doors until she settles in and bonds with her people. Lexington has so much love to give and just needs a family who will give her the structure, patience, and snuggles she craves. Could she be the perfect match for you? All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Lexington is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
