Hera

My story

My Greek mythology name is Hera, but my foster mom mostly calls me Mama or Mamacita. I was found abandoned in a park in a box with my kittens. Even then, I trusted people enough to ask everyone who passed by for help. After I was rescued it was clear that I was a loving and attentive mother and also very trusting and appreciative of my foster mom. After I got to know her, I started getting in her lap on the sofa and snuggling. I love to be petted, and sometimes I like to show her how much I care by rubbing my face on her chin. It took a couple of weeks to get to that point, but deep down I am a people cat and after I trust, I will be the most loyal and loving cat you could possibly hope for. One thing I would really love would be a foster home that fed me wet food. Before I was rescued in the park, I didn’t know what the sound of a can being opened meant because I had never had that before. Now I do and it is one of the highlights of my day! It would be great if I could find a house that would reward me with this yummy treat now that I have come to love it so much!
