My story

Say hello to Jessie, the prettiest little calico you’ve ever seen with a half black/half pink nose! This formerly feral girl has done a total 180 and is now a world-class snuggler. She makes the fluffiest biscuits, purrs like a tiny engine, and loves to play until it’s time for a cozy nap in a sunbeam. Jessie dreams of finding a forever lap to curl up in, a window to nap in, and a human who knows the value of a steady Churu supply. Bonus points if she can bring one of her siblings along—because everything’s better with a cuddle buddy! 🐾💗 Jessie is a member of the "Outlaw Litter". Their momma, Bugsy, is an extremely savvy feral girl who evaded being trapped for over 2 years. Thanks to a dedicated colony caretaker and IAR volunteers, she was finally caught this summer along with her five kittens: Jessie, Belle Starr, Opal, Bonnie, and Clyde. Bugsy was spayed and released, but her babies have decided they love life indoors and can't wait to find their forever homes!
