Lemon was surrendered to our rescue; we're not entirely sure why her family had to give her up, but we were happy to welcome this joyful girl. From the moment she arrived in her foster home, she settled right in, winning over her new humans and doggie siblings with her wagging tail, endless curiosity, and love for toys (especially ones twice her size!). Lemon’s days are filled with puppy fun: she wakes up early, eats her breakfast, and then launches into a morning play session with her foster siblings— tug-of-war, chase, wrestling, and plenty of yard sniffing. While her foster parents are at work, Lemon is a superstar in her x-pen, happily entertaining herself with toys and napping until it’s time for more play when they return. She’s not quite old enough for walks yet, but she’s eager to explore and loves time outside. Lemon is a playful, energetic pup who adores her toys, is very dog-social, and is always curious about what her humans are doing (especially if food is involved!). While she hasn’t turned into a snuggler just yet—there’s too much playing to do!—she gives lots of kisses and is very affectionate. She’s also sleeping well through the night in her crate and is quickly mastering potty training. Lemon would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of playtime, exercise, and continued training. She’d love a doggy sibling but would also be happy soaking up all the attention as an only pup. Because she’s still a teething puppy, homes with young children should be mindful of gentle dog handling. Her foster family says one of the funniest things about Lemon is watching her proudly drag around toys as big as she is— her ambition knows no bounds! Lemon is smart, sweet, playful, and ready to find her forever family. If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup to grow up with, Lemon might just be your perfect match!July 12, 2025, 1:25 am
