My story
Meet Richard! Richard and his brother Peter (also available for adoption) were taken to Long Beach Animal Care Services after their owner passed away. Richard is 8 years old, weighs 80 lbs., and has a very sweet, friendly personality. Richard is a well-mannered gentleman who knows sit, shake, and down. He walks nicely on leash (see video) and doesn't react to people, bikes, runners, or other dogs big and small. Richard is up for new adventures and just rocked his first paddleboarding trip! He He sat like a king on the board and stayed cool & calm even when it wobbled. Richard is ready to be your most loyal sidekick. Whether you're hitting the water or the couch, he's your ideal co-pilot for both outdoor adventures and couch snuggles. Whoever takes this boy home is getting a gem!
