My story

Hello! My name is Monkey, and I may just be the best family dog evah! If you have respectful animal loving kiddos, I'm your guy! I'm a young Labrador mix pup, about 9 months old, and right now I weigh about 45 pounds. I'll probably grown a bit more over the next few months too.   I love other dogs and kids and I just might be the biggest lap dog too.  I like to swim with my foster kids and I am super chill in the yard and I like to play with the other dogs here too.  So if you have another dog, I'd like that, but its not a deal breaker, especially if you have kids!  I am great on a leash, I'm house trained and I learned to swim with the kids too! I'm one of those really gentle loving dogs.  I have been learning to like my crate but I'm not quite there yet.  I do get a bit anxious if I'm left alone for awhile, but I'm getting better each day as I know my people will return! That said, I wouldn't be great home alone for full work days.  I would probably do better with another dog, and did I mention kids? Yes! I love them! I am ready to find my forever home, and whoever adopts me is going to be really lucky! Oh, and I have the most gorgeous eyes! Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $390. Monkey is being fostered in the Manzanita Oregon Coast area. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually.
